Miriam Stern, MSW, LCSW is the Founder and Executive Director of Meridian Counseling Services. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked in counseling services for 21 years. Miriam has worked in inpatient hospitals and day treatment programs as well as outpatient treatment. She specializes in treating addictions, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and panic, Postpartum Mood Disorders, and sexual orientation issues. She has advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and is certified in Clinical Supervision and EMDR Level II. She has guest-lectured on Motivational Interviewing, Assessing and Treating Mental Illness and Substance Abuse, and Treating Trauma at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers University, and The Richard Stockton College. She has also presented to other psychotherapists on Treating Trauma, Motivational Interviewing, and Treating Postpartum Depression. Miriam’s writings on Communication and Boundaries have been published in a Peer Support Program training manual. Justine Farnsworth, MSEd, LPC is the Clinical Director of Meridian Counseling Services. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked in counseling services for over 20 years. Justine has worked in community mental health at both the direct services and supervisory roles. She has advanced training in treating trauma, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Postpartum Mood Disorders, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy by Marsha Linehan’s Behavioral Tech program, couple’s therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Justine is certified in EMDR Level II.  Justine oversees the staff clinical supervision as well as providing counseling for adults and couples. NJ License #: 37PC00052100

 

Elana Dobrowolski, MSW, LCSW, LCADCis a clinician and the Program Director for Meridian Primecare.  Elana received her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. She has worked in counseling services for over 10 years and has advanced training in treating Domestic Violence, Postpartum Mood Disorders, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Addictions. Elana has presented on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault as well as Bullying Prevention. Elana works with adults, adolescents, individuals and couples and facilitates Meridian’s Postpartum Support Group in Turnersville. Susan has worked in counseling services in Employee Assistance Programs, Social Service Programs and Private Practice for over 25 years. Susan has advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma, Eating Disorders, Addictions, Grief, End-of-Life Issues, EMDR and Family Therapy, and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Clyde Boucher, MSW, LCSW received his Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. He has worked in counseling services, in both inpatient and outpatient settings, for over 20 years. Clyde has advanced training in Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR, substance abuse treatment and couple’s therapy. She has worked for 12 years with children, adolescents and adults in Residential, In-Home and Outpatient counseling settings and was a supervisor in an Outpatient Children’s Treatment program. Mandi has presented on Mindfulness.  Mandi is experienced in treating Anxiety Disorders, Depression, ADD/ADHD, and oppositional behaviors. Mandi has advanced training in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and therapeutic play. Kelly has presented to groups on Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and has provided training and  supervision on therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
